So Happy New Year to you all. I hope that you all had fun and will continue to have fun this year.
Over the festive period Stephen from TeaandChat gave me the most cruel and appropriate gift. I now have a rather wonderful notebook and pen. Mostly so that even when I’m nowhere near a keyboard I can write. It’s cruel cos it means I now have no excuses to not be writing. Well ok I should be writing more. Thanks to the gift I’ve now gotten the main events for the next few chapters done. Curses no more time off. I should hopefully have chapter 4 finished in the next two weeks. However I have some projects to also get done so I have no idea when I’ll actually get it done.

Hey,
Once you get used to carrying this little notebook with you everywhere, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it. I’ve gotten some of my best ideas for a chapter, or something about a character that I need to develop, while waiting in the doctor’s office or even in line at the grocery store. If I didn’t have my little notebook with me all the time, I’d forget half of this stuff before I got home and could write it down.

Gotta love the long lists of projects that never get completed – they seem to go on forever. I seem to think I am done all mine, but ask my wife, and she’ll give you a long list of stuff for me to do. I say, I have all of 2009 to get this stuff done!
